Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Transport decided to invest into renovation and upgrading Highway 14B Tuy Loan-bridge section Ha Nha, Danang and Quang Nam province in the form of build-trading business-transfer (BOT) within its jurisdiction, the current regulations.
 
As reported by the Ministry of Transportation, National Highway 14B with 73.971 km length linking Tien Sa port of Da Nang city to a connection with the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Thanh My town, Quang Nam is the horizontal route major road connecting Highway 1 with HCM.
 
Highway 14 section from Ha Nha Tuy Loan demand by linking industrial clusters in Quang Nam Da Nang city (Tien Sa port) should traffic volumes rising cause unsafe traffic.
 
Therefore, the adjustment plan scale sections from 2 lanes to 4 lanes to invest in upgrading is necessary.
