Townhouse with sun and wind thanks to curved sky wells

A 100 m2 house in Binh Tan District is the solution for a large family, even though the children are married, they still live with their parents because they are not eligible to live in a separate place.

The houses with many people, many bedrooms often have the disadvantage of being secret, reducing the linkage between members. To solve these problems, the architect came up with an open design both horizontally and vertically.

On the ground floor, the architect did not arrange the partition between the garage and the living room, but only used plant pots and wood louvers for the purpose of expanding the space and freeing the view. Parking is enough for two cars, just in case your friends visit.

Horizontal, one-sided stairs are pressed into one side of the house.

Behind the parking space, the living room connects with the kitchen - dining area, creating a seamless and spacious.

n the vertical direction, the architect arranges the floor space between the houses. Initially, the landlord worried about clearing floors and dangers, but when the house was completed, it was very satisfactory.

The floor space is designed in a curve, accounting for about 15% of the house area. 

The space of the floor helps the house to be full of light but not to the sun. The owner does not need to use electric lights until 17h, sometimes until 18h the house is still bright enough. This is also the most satisfied homeowner.

Thanks to the floor space, all four bedrooms have windows on the sides. On the side facing the floor, the architect did not build walls but made walls and glass doors combined with curtains to get sunshine and wind while increasing connectivity. When privacy is needed, residents only need to close the curtains.

In contact with the outside nature and the inner floor, the bedrooms have good air circulation and create exchanges between family members.

Toilets using frosted glass also take advantage of light and wind so they are dry and antibacterial.

Clearance also creates a lively and soft for the house, avoiding the monotony when the entire building and iron railings are painted white to reduce costs.
